Hi there! I’m Jennifer — the heart behind Jennifer Blaak Photography, proud mama of three, wife to my best friend, and your go-to storyteller with a camera in hand!
As a fellow mom, I totally get how easy it is to always be the one taking the pictures while never actually being in them. I’ve been there — juggling snacks, naps, and chaos — and I know just how meaningful it is to have beautiful, heartfelt photos with everyone in the frame. That’s why I’m so passionate about helping families capture these fleeting moments — from pregnancy and newborn snuggles to big kid milestones and everything in between.
I’ve been photographing families for over 10 years and it truly lights me up to meet new people, share some laughs, and document your real, love-filled story. Whether you’re celebrating a brand new baby or your teen’s last summer before post-secondary adventures, I’m here to preserve those memories — beautifully and naturally.
I offer studio sessions, in-home lifestyle sessions, and outdoor adventures — and we’ll work together to find the perfect spot for your family’s vibe. Whether that’s snuggling on your living room couch, chasing light in a golden field, or keeping cozy in the studio, we’ll make sure your photos feel just like you.
I’m based in Brantford, but I absolutely love hitting the road to meet families all over southern Ontario — from Tillsonburg to Oakville to Stoney Creek and beyond. Exploring our corner of Ontario while doing what I love? Yes please!
A few fun facts: I’m an ISFP (big heart, deep feeler), I’m obsessed with live music, board games, and cozy nights in with friends. Starbucks is my ultimate weakness — right up there with the smell of a campfire, the sound of rain, and breezy summer nights by the water.

I'm Jennifer, a wedding and lifestyle photographer. I have a confession to make. I love stories. I love hearing them, I love watching them unfold, I LOVE telling them.
I love being able to document a wedding day and tell that story of the day through images. The first moment the groom sees his bride, the tear the father of the bride promised himself he wouldn't shed the first time he sees his little girl in her wedding dress, the smiles and laughter of the family who flew across the country to be at the wedding, and everything in between.
I love it when families allow me the honor of entering into their homes and documenting their family and their story. Whether its documenting the maternity chapter, capturing the tiny toes of your newborn, or running around and laughing with your family.
My job, as your photographer, is to tell your story. I want you to be able to feel the excitement and hear the laughter when you look through the images from our session. I want your grandchildren to be able to look through your photo album and travel back in time to these moments with you.
